We’re looking for a new postdoc!!

We’re hiring!! The Social Perception and Communication Lab at Yale University is looking for a full-time postdoctoral associate to join the lab in the summer of 2022. Our research explores the psychology of societal inequality, discrimination, and intergroup relations. Please peruse this website to learn more about the lab and our community, as well as to read some of our publications.

The postdoctoral associate will work closely with Dr. Jennifer Richeson and Dr. Michael Kraus on research examining how people perceive and reason about racial and other forms of economic inequality, as well as have opportunities to collaborate with the lab’s graduate and undergraduate trainees. Of course, the associate will also join the vibrant research environment at Yale Psychology. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience with quantitative social psychological research, as well as strong methodological, data-analytic, and writing skills. Promising candidates will also value working in a highly collaborative environment and have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Applicants must have a PhD in social psychology or a related field (by the position’s start date).
