Congratulations to Yale graduates Angela and Chelsea!

Many congratulations to senior thesis students, Angela Yoo and Chelsea Illard, both of whom successfully completed emprical honors thesis projects! Angela’s project considered emotional reactions to learning about racial disparties in covid mortality. Angela graduated from Yale with BS in cognitive science with distinction in the major.

Chelsea’s project considered with recent efforts to remove Confederate monuments trigger racial group status threat among White Americans. Chelsea also graduated from Yale with a BS in Psychology, with distinction in the major, as well as a BA in Economics. Congratulations, as well, to their mentors: Kiera Hudson (Angela) and Xanni Brown (Chelsea).
